One popular way to breed seahorses is to use Plastic Water Tanks. You are going to need more than one plastic tank if you are going to keep your seahorses. You can use a glass fish bowl to keep them in before our after the breeding process. There are some things that you need to do before you are ready to breed your seahorses.
One thing that you need to do is to look at the Plastic Water Tanks that are available to purchase, and find some at the prices that you are looking at. You want to find one that is made of marine grade plastic. Once you find some that you are happy with, buy them and get them set up. Ideally the tanks will be the drum style tanks, which look somewhat like barrels. You will also need to have a sponge filter to keep the water clean. Using a sponge filter will allow the water to be cleaned, but won't suck the seahorse fry up into the filter.
After you have done this, you want to prepare your Plastic Water Tanks for your seahorses. To do this, make sure that they are very clean. Once you have cleaned them, you need to take a couple of weeks to condition the water. Before you add in your seahorses, you need to make sure that there are copepods in the tank. You can either do this by adding in water from a long established tank, or adding food until you see that there are copepods in the tanks.
Once this is done, you can breed your seahorses. When they have bred, you then separate the males into the Plastic Water Tanks that you have set up. Male seahorses take care of the eggs and baby fish. Once the babies have hatched, you should change out the water in the tank about halfway with water from the parents tank. After you have done that, you just need to make sure that there isn't too much current in your tank, and feed them well until they grow up to become full grown seahorses.

I use steel water tanks and they are the best water tanks. I have used plastic water tanks earlier. But they get damages very easily. They get scratches easily when we move it here and there. I had to replace 3 plastics water tanks in the span of 2 years.

I too have the same Synder plastic water tank. The capacity of the tank is 300 Gallons and the size is 48.5"x48.5"x53". It is best suited for my requirement and takes care of the household water needs.

I think concrete water tanks are good to store water because we can store more quantity of water. Though it is expensive in the beginning, it is a permanent storage tank and becomes cheaper as years go by.

Plastic water tanks are really very good storage tanks and these tanks are portable. I use a black color flat bottom water tank and it is very solid. It is running good from 6 months.
